    Bruce,

The Willard 8 ton has a deeper keel than the Willard trawlers.  The bolts that you see in the bilge might be used for bolting on the piece of iron.  This is a strong boat and I have had several groundings with no damage.

Hand grabs look great -- gives you something to polish too!

Nice mugs, we would love to have a couple for our cruising coffee.  The Rendevous is sounding more fun all the time!  We are busily readying for it, and will look forward to meeting other Willard lovers.

Good call, Anne & Rob -- the BBQ area definitely may be needed!  I'm getting ready to send out the final info pack to those who have indicated an interest, and will also include your tides & current info.

Also, I made a large batch of "Official Commemorative Willard 2012 Rendezvous Coffee Mugs" -- so cool!  One free to each boat, with additional mugs available for $5 each to help defray the costs. These are nice, full size ceramic coffee mugs, featuring the full line of Willard trawlers -- so will definitely look great on any Willard!

They can be purchased at the Rendezvous, and if any are left over afterwards, I'll make them available online for mailing.

Time to focus now on everything I need to do to make it to LaConner next month for the Willard rendezvous!

-YES, make sure you make it to LaConner -- we want to see you and the boat there!
