I have been an admirer of Wm. Garden’s talent and his 36’ Vega PH in particular. I expect you will have many interested parties asking questions and hope you do not mind one more. Namely, how is the engine space accessed?

I don't know the 36 PH intimately, but from the plans you can see that there is an engine box in the lower saloon/stateroom area, similar to many sailboat designs. Removing the lid and/or/sides of the box will allow pretty clear access to the engine.
